Founded in 2022 to bridge the gap between the demands of military service and the realities of single parenthood.
What it was
The Single Parent Support Group was founded in 2022 to support single service members navigating the demands of military service while raising children. Through partnerships with community organizations, the group connected families with practical support and resources, ultimately assisting 35 military families through grocery stipends, annual retreats and monetary gifts to help offset holiday expenses.

I knew what it felt like to serve your country while still having to figure out childcare, groceries, holidays and everything waiting for you at home. I wanted single parents to know there was a community willing to help carry some of that weight.
